i'm reading The Half Blood Prince right now!! well, technically not right now, cause i'm blogging. but u get my point. i've been reading for hours and my eyes are aching. but i can't put it down!! AHH. almost didn't go trng because i wanted to continue reading it. but i'm glad i was strong enough to say ENOUGH and gather enough strength to head down to the pool!! YAY. i'm proud of myself for making the right decision, if i'd skipped trng to read, i wld have finished it by now and then there'll be nth to read!!!=( i'm sort of dreading to finish it cause it would mean not being able to enjoy such heart wrenching suspense for until like, 2 yrs later?=( sob.

anyway the book has been so far so good!! it rocks!! i love JK Rowling! i was at Popular at 7.06am to collect my precious and once i started reading up to the third chapter, my heart was beating non stop! (i'm at around page 410 now) i already sort of know how the story ends thanks to Lisa, Shawn and Justin. Lisa was asking me how the book ended, so i flipped to the last 2 pages and accidentally saw the words "Dumbledore's Death"!!! ARGH. why must Dumbledore die?? then Lisa was so funny. she quickly took the book away and read it n said "No, no where got? you're dreaming lah." or sth to that effect. haha. but at trng, Shawn Ng and Justin Tan started telling me about how Snape killed Dumbledore!! GRRR. Spoiler!! i'm a lot further than them in the book, but they read the last parts first and they described exactly how Snape killed Dumbledore to me!! ARGH. i was torn btw the desire to savour the book page by page and wanting to find out what happened!!!=(

see, i got carried away while gushing about The half blood Prince. i didn't even talk about sch nats yet!! i enjoyed Sch Nats tremendously cause this year's team ROCKS! haha. we got Double Champs!! so did RJC. only RI spoiled the winning streak by losing the B div Boys title. =( why was their picture in the papers when they were the ones who "tarnished" the RAFFLES names? hrmph. but who cares, i love my team and that's all that matters!=) haha. quite a few pple brought Digital Cameras and took tons of nice pictures. i set up a RGS swimmers Shutterfly account so we can all share our pictures and next yr's swimmers can add on too=) YAY. i sense the start of a new tradition! it's going to have a lot of sentimental value for me next time. my final year in RGS and we're Double Champs. HAH. we rock! i'll add the link to the pictures once almost everyone has uploaded their pictures then u can all see how RGS Swimmers (actually all swimmers) are so cool and funky and join us next yr! whee.

dinner was at Cafe Cartel and it was yummy=) i shared a Crispy Combo with Peishan and Xiner=) and after the meal, Serene and i bought ms.ong a slice of Tiramisu Cheesecake cause she treated us to Crystal Jade the day before. but she claimed she couldn't finish, so we helped her eat some to. hehe. it was yummy! really ex and fattening yeah, but it's a once a yr activity anyway. but i thought the company was even better than the food! sat with Gen, Tara, Lisa, Amer, Val and of course Peishan n Xiner and we were on a photo taking spree!! it was so much fun i even forgot about the food at times. haha. but of course i finished everything lah, n i took pictures of some of the dishes too=) typical me!
