yesterday was supposed to be the last CT for Swimmng this year=( but it was fun! we (the Sec 4s) stepped down and the a new Exco stepped up. Peishan is capt, Gen n Xin Er are vice-capts=) Good Luck Guys! i really hope you guys can do lead the team to greater heights! double champs and beyond!=D it was a great experience being in the Exco and i glad i managed to do my bit for the team. but i wish i'd done more=( Like what Mrs.Loh says at SLN GMs, we shld try to leave a legacy, and to always do our best to prep our successors who have to take over us.

i think i failed in this area because i didn't share my SLN experiences and learnings with the House Com and develop any of the potential Capts/Vice Capts so that they will be ready to step up when the time come. it's the time factor!! i think RGS girls are juggling so many committments, so much so that they can nvr take time off to reflect. haiz. this is one of my main learning points this year, that i shld reflect upon my actions and become a better person/ leader.

i think the last paragraph was damn confusing. haha. maybe to some pple it will be. cause i was just typing down some of my thoughts as they came about n i didn't organise them at all=) haha. anyway back to CT. it was one of the most productive ever i must say. we came up with tons of suggestions, some of which i'm really enthusiastic about!!=) but whether they will work depends on next year's Exco and how they work with the team. i wish i could still be in the team next yr, it sounds like it'll be an exciting year ahead!! haha. but then again, nothing can make me want to repeat Sec 4 again. the workload is tremendous lah, it's crazy!!! i don't know how Jing Wei or Anna can cope when they have so many other responsiblities. Jing Wei is top in standard!! i think i shld drop French, then i'll have more time on other more meaningful stuff. it's not like my French is getting anywhere anyway. Madame Tse is a nice teacher, but she's just so slow!!

AHH. why do i keep going off tangent?? haha. Centralised Trng!! don't sidetrack. anyway about the proposal i keep bringing up at CT yesterday.. i was proposing EXCO luncheons!=) such a wonderful idea. how come i only thought of it yesterday?? i got this idea from the SLN Student-Admin Luncheons=) it's good that i'm starting to be able to link SLN to the Swim Team. that was the reason why the school sent us for the DISC workshop and the other Leadership Trng Programmes, so we can apply it in our role as leaders of Houses, CCAs, Classes, etc. at the start of the year, i really couldn't see how to apply it and how i could get it to relate to the student population. but recently i've been able to see the connection!!=)

and the Sec 4 Swimmers and i are also thinking of going to Malaysia at the end of year!! Sunway Lagoon or Genting Highlands!!=) i hope it works out. pls pls let it work out. it's would be such an amazing experience to go travelling together with the Swimmers. plus we're planning it ourselves, so it's going to be all the more meaningful it it does work out=D the first team holiday ever!! we can be the pioneer batch=)

this was quite a long entry! HAH. although i shoudn't be doing this since it's almost 1am and i have to go to school tmr morn for Speech Day rehersal. plus i'm having a fever=( i don't want to be sick when EOIs are in 2 weeks and SLN datelines are so close!! Haiz. Huijuen, Yishan, Joyce n I are in charge of the Student Admin Lunches and the very first one in this wed. headache!! we have to plan the agenda, write formal letter to the 4 principals, the 2 directors, and mr.anselm chu, settle the food, etc.. hiaz. no time!
